How GlobalWorker Helps Foreign Workers Obtain Work Permit and Visa in Romania

Work Permit and Visa in Romania (3)
Romania is becoming an increasingly popular destination for foreign workers looking for new opportunities and long-term career growth. The country is experiencing economic development and a constant demand for skilled and unskilled labor in industries such as construction, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, healthcare, and hospitality. However, one of the biggest challenges that foreign workers face is obtaining the necessary work permit for Romania. This process can often feel overwhelming due to the documentation, legal requirements, and procedural complexities.

This is where GlobalWorker steps in — a trusted recruitment and workforce solutions partner that not only connects international workers with Romanian employers but also simplifies the entire process of obtaining a visa and work permit in Romania.

What is a Visa and Work Permit in Romania?

Before explaining how GlobalWorker can help, it’s important to clarify what the visa and work permit process involves in Romania. For non-EU citizens, the process starts with receiving a job offer from a Romanian employer. The employer must then obtain an employment approval (aviz de muncă) from the Romanian General Inspectorate for Immigration (IGI). Once the employment approval is granted, the foreign worker can apply for a long-stay visa for employment purposes (D/AM visa) at the nearest Romanian consulate in their home country.

After arriving in Romania, the worker must apply for a residence permit, which will allow them to live and work legally in the country. The work permit and residence permit are both mandatory to ensure legal employment.

How GlobalWorker Simplifies the Process

GlobalWorker’s mission is to remove the hassle and confusion for both workers and employers. Here’s how we help foreign workers with their visa and work permit in Romania:

Buna ziua. Voiam sa stiu daca recrutati muncitori si din Nigeria. Este vorba despre un cetatean nigerian 27 ani, dornic sa lucreze si sa se stabileasca in Romania. Este specialist in domeniul IT insa este dispus sa lucreze si in alt domeniu.
